Operation Christmas Child

Shoe Box Gifts

Once again, our congregation is supporting Operation Christmas Child, a nondenomination outreach of Samaritan's purse. We'll be collecting items to fill shoe boxess of gifts for impoverished children in over 70 countries. Many of these children's families have fled their homes due to violence and live in crowded refugee camps.
Items will be collected through October 31st.
We are needing new (only):
- Coloring books
- Art Activities/projects
- Soccer or playground balls that can be deflated to fit in shoe box,
- Small air pumps to inflate balls
- Washable markers
- Hair bows, barettes
- Small trucks and cars for ages 3-9
- Small stuffed animals
- Medium girls and boys socks (ages 5-9)
- Card games, travel size games
- Yoyos
- Sidewalk chalk
- Small flashlights
- AAA batteries
- Colorful T-shirts size 3T-size 14
- A multi-use tool or small fishing kit for teens
- Items for sewing kits
Each box cost $10 for mailing. We are collecting $1,250 for mailing these precious boxes. Join us in giving hope and joy to children who live with nothing!

“Fragrant Beauty” A Women’s Retreat explored the many fragrances of God’s story; through Biblical history, present in creation, and in the beauty of yourself. We enjoyed the opportunity to breathe in many Biblical fragrances, create a painting, and explore God’s word reflecting on the definitions placed upon “beauty”.
